About St. Joe's
—
Founded in 1937, St. Joseph House of Hospitality is a cornerstone of compassion and care in southwestern Pennsylvania. As the region’s only year-round men’s residential program for individuals facing homelessness or housing insecurity, it serves as a beacon of hope for those who need it most. Operated by Catholic Charities, this remarkable organization is dedicated to providing practical assistance and fostering dignity, independence, and community.
St. Joseph House of Hospitality stands as a vital force in improving lives and building brighter futures for men in need.

An evening of refinement, flavor, and impact.
—
Raise your glass—whether with a fine bourbon, an elegant wine, or a crafted non-alcoholic pairing—and join us in supporting St. Joseph House of Hospitality, our Hill District residence providing shelter and dignity to men over 50. Your presence ensures that every sip shared is also a step toward self-sufficiency, hope, and healing.
Guests may choose from two distinct tasting experiences:
Bourbon Tasting – Discover a curated selection of distinguished bourbons, each offering depth, character, and warmth, from Three Chord Bourbon, Big Spring Spirits, Liberty Pole Spirits, and McLaughlin Distillery.
Wine Tasting – Guided by Dennis Noonan, Vice President of Sokolin of New York, a celebrated name in fine wine since 1934, explore remarkable wines sourced from renowned vineyards and emerging regions around the globe.
Each tasting will be artfully paired with chef-inspired small plates from Hotel Monaco, creating a memorable culinary journey.
To commemorate the evening, every guest will receive a keepsake celebratory glass.
This is more than a tasting—it’s a toast to transformation.
