Compassion Corner: A Recap of Our Unforgettable Launch!

May 6, 2024

Frankly, we’re just a little overwhelmed today – and so very, very grateful.

More than 140 elected officials and community and business leaders gathered in downtown Pittsburgh at the public launch of the Campaign for Compassion Corner, spearheaded by Catholic Charities. It was a day of tremendous celebration and support for our vision of new hope and restoration for the most vulnerable among us.

We’re grateful for the enthusiastic reception to our plans for new and expanded services, including the Gismondi Job Training program, crisis case management and a collaborative relationship with Gift of Mary to serve at-risk women.

If you missed Friday's front page of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, take a peek at just a portion of the positive coverage we received.

We look forward to inviting you soon to our ribbon cutting.

In the meantime, if you have made a financial contribution to the $17 million Campaign for Compassion Corner, thank you. If you have yet to make a donation but agree that creating real solutions and guiding those in distress to long-term stability is a worthy mission we all share, please consider offering your support today.

A special thanks to our lead donors who have helped build wonderful momentum for the campaign.
