Investing in Hope.

Are you with us?

Join us in our 2024 Hope from Home Campaign, our largest, most-important annual fundraiser.

Donations go to the programs and services that affirm dignity and restore hope for thousands of our neighbors.

Our goal is to raise $900,000 and welcome 250 gifts. Can we count on you?

Our ambitious targets reflect increasing need. Our last fiscal year saw a 12% increase in the number of people we served over the previous year – more than 23,000 people who needed our uplifting services.

Our core services include Basic Needs Assistance, Case Management, Counseling, Pregnancy & Parenting Support, Homelessness Services, Senior Care, Free Health Care, Disaster Relief, and the Gismondi Job Training Program.

Most importantly, we offer the opportunity to guide people to independence and break the hold of generational poverty.

Make a donation today and join Catholic Charities in the joy of affirming dignity and potential – and restoring hope.

Programs Making a difference

  • With your support, we're ready.

    With your support, we're ready.

The need is great, but our plan is simple: We welcome any person in distress, prioritize immediate need and invite every person who comes to us to partner for long-term solutions.

This past fiscal year, that meant with your financial support our experts in care met the physical and emotional needs more than 23,000 neighbors in Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Greene, Lawrence and Washington counties. That’s a 12% increase from the previous year – 23,000 people, and those who care about them, transformed by your support.

  • Basic Needs Assistance

    Basic Needs Assistance

Without the basics like housing, food or safe shelter there is no living, only surviving. We help meet basic needs such as essential provisions, rental and utility assistance for residents in SWPA living without 200% of the Federal Poverty Guideline.

  • Counseling
