Volunteers Needed

Catholic Charities is in desperate need of volunteers to keep our Winter Warming Station operational. The Winter Warming Station provides safe and warm indoor refuge for those who are homeless in downtown Pittsburgh.

Volunteers help serve coffee and snacks, organize and distribute winter clothes, and provide companionship to anyone who needs to take shelter from the cold. 

Please note that this opportunity is limited to individuals age 18 and older who are vaccinated against the COVID-19 virus.

Catholic Charities can accommodate up to 4 volunteers per shift due to space restrictions in our facility. Shifts are generally three hours long, and volunteers are welcome to sign up for consecutive shifts or multiple shifts per week.
