Challenges: Options In Aging (Lawrence County Residents)
Challenges: Options in Aging offers a wide range of programs and services for older persons in Lawrence County, who are seeking alternatives to nursing home care. From social, recreational, educational, and health-related services to programs assisting individuals to stay in their homes, we seek to enhance independence and the highest quality of life possible.
Challenges Center at Shenley Square
Challenges Center is an innovative community facility offering a wide variety of services and activities to support the independence of Lawrence County residents over the age of 50.
Community Services
Individuals receive services in the community and in the home, which may eliminate the need for a move to a nursing home. Income and age requirements may apply.
Long-Term Care Services
PDA Waiver, Bridge, Nursing Home Diversion and Family Caregiver Support
Supportive Services
Health insurance counseling, limited legal services and transportation help are just some of the supportive services provided.
