Pregnancy and Parenting

Recognizing the value of every human life, Catholic Charities offers pregnant women, young mothers, and other members of the family unit the support they need to care for their babies.

Each county office offers childbirth, parenting, and life skills education for individuals, couples, families, and groups. Women who are pregnant or who have an infant under the age of 12 months are eligible for free diapers, formula, and clothing through the Women-In-Need Program.

Young pregnant women who need a place to live before and after the births of their children can find refuge at Catholic Charities' Roselia Center.

Women concerned about a possible unplanned pregnancy can receive free confidential help through Catholic Charities in every county. Counselors provide pregnancy testing and can discuss options that are in the best interest of both mother and child.
